During the first two months of North Carolina’s Stay-at-Home Order and Phase 1 of reopening, I ordered more takeout dinners than usual in hopes to support struggling local restaurants. An accumulation of unused plastic ware led me to create work that mimics the insecurity of a world that seems familiar but is inherently distant & obscure.
